Sirloin steak comes from the back, behind the ribs but ahead of the rump area. Sirloin cuts are often the leaner parts of a steak and contain high protein. Although they taste delicious, cuts of sirloin aren't quite as robust in flavor as a ribeye because of their lower fat content. Our sirloin steaks are cut approximately 1 - 1.5 inches thick.
At CD&J Mini Ranch we raise our animals naturally and humanely at our family farm outside San Benito. Our cows are grass fed on rotating pastures. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and grow our own meats and vegetables. We raise Black Angus cows and we have introduced F2 Wagyu into our beef lineup, which will be available soon. We have an assortment of beef cuts and will be happy to accommodate your likes and dislikes, just let us know.
